5 month CUTIE!!!

My Blue eyed little boy.

Kurt and his cousin Sariah. She is 11 days younger than him. She is finally starting to catch up to him is size. For the longest time you didn't know that they were that close in age. She just wouldn't grow, Kurt wasn't lacking in that department and still isn't.

Kurt turned 5 months old yesterday. He is getting so big. It goes by so fast. He rolled all the way over for the first time on Wednesday. None of my kids have been big on being on their stomachs, so they never really liked rolling over. He rolls over all the time now and gets upset after a while so we roll him back over to his back and he rolls over again immediately. It's quite the game. He loves his rice cereal and baby food. He also enjoys chewing on his fingers all the time. He is always happy and smiling. All you have to do is look at him and he smiles. He will reach for my face with both hands and bring his face towards mine and give me a slobbery kiss, love them. SO MUCH FUN!!!

The Runt...

So my daughters cat Lily had 4 kittys a month ago. They all seemed to being doing good and we were able to pick to runt out of the litter a few weeks ago, but it really wasn't that much smaller than the others, well not anymore. Lily the mother cat kept bringing the runt upstairs all day yesterday and everytime I would take it back down stairs to the box she was feeding the others. This happened more than once yesterday. So I have concluded that she doesn't want it. Plus when it did try to eat the other kittys are so big that it was getting pushed out of the way. So I am trying to feed it myself with one of those little pet bottles. It isn't wanting to eat. I am forcing it to eat and it isn't getting that much food. I dont know what else to do. I have had my feel of drama with animals around my house lately. HELP!

Class Reunion - The BIG 10 year

This past weekend I had my 10 year reunion. I wasn't sure that I wanted to go but I am glad that I did. It ended up being a lot more fun than I thought it was going to be. It was fun catching up with classmates that I hadn't seen since graduation and to visit with the ones that I see all the time but just don't get the time to visit with. We missed the ones that weren't there and hope too see them at the 15 yr. We planned on 30-35 classmates out of a class of 84 but only 26 showed up. Hopefully next time there will be a better turnout. Thanks for the picture Jandy.

Fall Pictures

I love taking pictures. My kids have so many. We took the kids out over the weekend and got some pictures of them. Aren't they adorable. There are to many to post so I just posted my top favorite of each of them. The group shot was a little difficult to get everyone to look at me at the same time.

Goodbye Jack

Yesterday was a long and awful day. Yesterday at around 11 am I found our black lab Jack dead. He looked like he was sleeping and I tried yelling at him and he didn't respond. So I walked out there and found him dead. Ella had a really bad day, he was her dog. I have deceided that we aren't getting anymore dogs for a long time or maybe never again. Jedd wasn't home for all this, so he didn't find out about it until later that evening. When he got home he put Jack in is resting place. We aren't sure what happened. He was a healthy dog, atleast we thouht. It looked as if he went to sleep and never woke up. We will miss you Jack.

Someone didn't love them...

Someone didn't loves us. I found these 2 puppies in my garage yesterday morning around 9am. I have no idea where they came from. They stayed all day and wouldn't leave. They acted like they had always lived here. So I started calling around to see if anyone had lost some dogs. I called all my neighbors and anyone I could think of that might have dogs, no such luck. I believe now that someone dropped them off at my house. I don't think they are lost. So since I already have one dog and don't need 2 others I put them on KSL today. I have had 2 calls and one is coming up tonight to look at them. They are so cute but I just don't have room or time for more animals. In my ad I clearly said"free to a GOOD home. It is so said that people do things like this.

Beccas 1st day of dance practice was a few weeks ago. She was very excited and she loves it. She is always dancing whenever music comes on .
Kurt 4 months old. He turned 4 months old on Sept 9th. He had his 4 month appt on the 16th and he weighed 18lbs 12oz (95%) and was 26 1/2 tall (90%). He is a healthy boy. He is so much fun and a very happy baby. Favorites and little things- he has a favorite blankie, is loving the rice cereal, loves to play with his binky taking it in and out. always trying to grab things, cries around strangers, already. Doesn't like tummy time all that much, talking baby babble and laughing a lot, loves his sisters. He is just so much fun.

Becca loves to help me whenever I get the windex and paper towels out. The other day she took it upon herself to clean the windows with Kurts baby wipes.

PRESCHOOL, IT'S HERE

The last couple of weeks have been really busy. We have been hurrying to finish the family room in the basement for my preschool. Jedd left it until the last minute so we have spent every spare moment to get it done in time. Last year it wasn't finished and I told him that I really needed it done for this year. Well today was the big day and I survived. I was a little nervous. Things ran really smooth. I have 8 kids in preschool this year. It's just the right number. One half of the basement is the learning area and the other half is the play area. I think it turned out pretty good. Becca couldn't wait for (her) preschool to start. The daily agenda will include free time, learning time, circle time, story time, arts and crafts, music time, and snack time. Preschool is on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9-12

Homework and more homework!

This is usually the spot where Dad sits when he gets home from work to do his homework. He spends more time in this room than anywhere else in the house most days. I caught Becca in here the other day and asked her what she was doing and she said "my homework like dad, silly".

How many times does it take....

Good thing I had a dental tool on had or we would of had to go to the E.R. This was the only thing that worked out of everything that we could think of.

How many times does it take before you learn not to put things up your nose that don't belong there, well with Becca 1 time isn't enough. About 3 months ago Becca stuck a small piece of crumpled paper up her nose and Jedd wasn't home so I had to call my dad to the rescue. Well you would think she would have learned her lesson, wrong. Today she stuck a bead up her nose. What is it with this kid and her nose. I thought that I was going to have to take her to the E.R. to get it taken out, but once again my dad came to the rescue and got it out. It took a bit of work because it was so big and up there a ways but we got it. I captured this one with some pictures. Lets see how long before she finds something else to stick up there, hopefully this was the last time.

Lets start this blog with the wedding. Friday night we headed down to SLC and stayed in a hotel so we wouldn't have to get up so early for the wedding on Saturday. The sealing was to take place at 10:20a.m. and as you know you are to be there 30 minutes early. Well I was still sitting in the youth room at 10:10 waiting for a couple of Jedds girls cousins that said they were coming with their parents and had offered to sit with the kids. Well they came with some older cousins and not their parents so they were late. I was growing more and more frustrated waiting thinking it was going to start without me. I was also getting upset that I was going to enter the temple for the sealing mad. Just what you want when you are at the temple. Well they finally showed up and I made it, but I was still red in the face if you know what I mean. Well anyways the ceremony was very nice and it was a nice day all in all. We had a luncheon at Maddox in Brigham and the reception was in Malad at the Stake Center from 7-9. It was a cute reception.

Next Ella started school on Monday and was very excited. Her dad and sister rode the bus with her to school. I met them in at the school. We took her to her classroom and wished her good luck on her 1st day back. I cant believe that she is in 1st grade. She had to go all day from 8-3. She rode the bus home and it took her until 4:20 to get home. She was the last one dropped off. She was very tired. I don't know if I am going to make her ride the bus home, that is to long of a ride. When I can go in and get her and she would be home 10 minutes after school is over. She took a lunch the 1st day because she didn't like what they were having for lunch. She loved that there were 3 recesses. She said she played with her friend for a little while and they she chased boys. I laughed hard and Jedd was surprised. I think he was thinking about what is in store in the future. Also notice Ella got a haircut. I think it is cute. Well that has been my crazy life this these last few days.

Way Behind, computer problems

I am having computer problems again with that same virus from a while ago so I haven't been able to post anything until now and I am still having problems with the picture downloads. So when I get this all fixed(hopefully) I will fill you in on the wedding and Ella's 1st day of 1st grade and etc.

Parties, Pizza and Caterpillars

So this last weekend was a busy one. Friday I attended a bridal shower for my future sister in law Kasey Jones. We had her party at the Stake building. She got a lot of cute stuff. I gave her a picnic basket with all the goodies you need to go on a picnic, I wish I would have taken a picture it was really cute. I had to make cookies and ended up making 4 dozen. Saturday we headed over to Smithfield to Grandma Budges 70th Birthday party. She is Jedds grandma and Tracys mom. It was fun we had lunch at the park and played all kinds of games and had a good time visiting, again no pictures. Monday for FHE the girls wanted to make pizza so we did. They love making their own and it tastes so good to them since they were the ones that made it. And last the picture of the caterpillars. We weeded the flower bed and the girls found them I thought it was cute, especially since Becca freaks out with any kind of bug or insect. I was surprised she was hold it. This next weekend is going to be another busy one, we have Trevor and Kaseys wedding on Saturday down at the Salt Lake Temple. I will post some pictures sometime next week.

Kurt 3 months old and the Girls

Kurt will be 3 months old on Saturday. He is getting so big. He looks older than 3 months because he is so big. He is my chubbiest baby. He is laughing and smiling and when he smiles his whole face smiles. He is sleeping through the night, which is great. He is so cute. I can't imagine our family without him.

The girls are growing up so fast as well. Ella will be starting 1st grade on August 18th. She will be gone all day. It will be interesting to she how she adjusts to all day. Becca is looking even older now that Kurt is here. She was the baby but know she looks so old. And you know what all that means, I am just getting older along with them.
