Penguin, Christmas, Sleding, and a Moose!

It's a Moose, we have a new friend living across from our house. He has been here for the last 2 days and the fish and game aren't concerned with moving him so I guess he will be around until he gets bored of us.

It took Becca a while to warm up to sleding after her first run didn't go to well.

Snow baby.

The Christmas fun has begun around here. We have been so busy around here getting ready for the big day. We had the 1st of many parties last night in Smithfield. Jedd's grandparents invited all of Ken and Tracy's children and their children over for a Gingerbread house party. We started the night off by decorating our house, the girls had fun but hurried through the decorating so they could play with their cousins. Grandma served us dinner, we had 3 kinds of soup, cheese and crackers and and 2 kids of icecream pie for dessert. Then we had a little prompt to program, grandma read the kids a story, watched a movie about the birth of Jesus and last off all, of course presents. All the older great grandchildren received a musical dancing doll. Let's just say they are fun for a little while:). Then we headed for home since the Ella had school. She gets out for Christmas break on Tuesday. The next 3 days are going to be busy. We have dance performances tonight and tomorrow and still have a lot to do before Santa comes to town. Santa still needs to finish his present for the girls. Jedd had built the girls a awesome doll house for their Barbies. I have helped by painting it and still need to add some detail to the inside rooms. Wish Santa luck. I will post a picture of the finished product after it is delivered. MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone.

I can't believe that is has been this long since I have posted anything. Don't get me wrong I have had plenty of things that I could have posted, I have just been soooo busy. Since it is almost Christmas I'm not going to post any pictures from Turkey day but we did have a good one. My family came to my house. Ella and Becca have been busy with dance and school. Kurt is growing up so fast he is 7 months old and 23 lbs, a BIG boy. Jedd has been the working a lot, late almost every night and almost every weekend for the last 2 months. He got a promotion at work and is a Boss man and so he has been working like crazy. The paychecks are nice but it would also be nice to have him home more. Well I will try to post some pictures later. Hope all is well with all you other bloggers. Happy Holidays.

I'm Back

Wow, has live been crazy at this household. The last couple of weeks have been filled with busy weekends of picture taking, dance, sick family and me sick for the last 2 weeks. So I am finally back into the swing of things, I hope. Ella has had an early start with dance competetions this year. November 15th see danced in Pocatello. They got 1st place, overall high score and judges choice. There dance production this year is, The night before Christmas. It is really cute. Ella is a Christmas Caroler.

Kurt turned 6 months old on the 9th. He had his 6 month appointment on the 18th. He weighed 21 lbs 2 oz which is 90% and was 28 in. which is 90%. He's a big boy. We just love him so much. He is a lot of fun and such a happy baby. Always smiling and laughing. He has accomplished sitting up by himself and holding his own bottle. He loves his food and is starting to show interest in what we eat. He is growing up to fast.

Becca is still into coloring on things she shouldn't. In the picture she tried to paint her toes, only it was with marker instead of toe polish. See is mischievious.

Eww! Coloring Crayons....

We were having an okay sunday afternoon until this.... My girls came out to the living room together and the youngest Beccas says, Mom 2 monsters colored on both sides of my closet doors. I was instantly mad but trying not to laugh because she thought that I would actually buy into the 2 monters story. I look at Ella the oldest and I can see the guilt written all over her face and she says, I didn't to do it. But I know they are both guilty. So I proceed to go see the damage and get even more mad after I see it. Both the closet doors on the back are covered with crayon and the front of the doors have Beccas name wrote on each one. I wonder how the monster knew Beccas name and how to spell it. I asked Ella why she would do this when she knows better and her response was, Becca said we should do it. That mad me mad yet again. Apparently she isn't going to do well with the peer pressure thing:( They both got a good lecture about how we worked hard for the house and how they shouldn't disrespect stuff and got sent to their rooms. They are just lucky that their Dad had to work the weekend and that they will be in bed when he gets home because he is going to be VERY mad. He worked hard on this house. Wish me luck on getting the crayon off and any good suggestions on how, let me know. Below are some random pictures.

I love the views, sunsets and sunrises that we get to see living out here in the country.

Just another picture of my BLUE eyed boy!

In this picture Ella wasn't happy that Jedd made her put on the orange vest. She kept saying it makes me look fat and I look stupid. Like anyone was going to care anyways, kids they start young with fashion.
It is kinda scary that she is smiling so big in this picture. She was all smiles when he gave her the gun. Watch out.

Ella has been asking her dad to take her hunting for a while now, so Jedd took her hunting on Monday. She couldn't wait she was so excited. Jedd hasn't taken her hunting since the last time when she was 21/2 years old. It was not a good experience for either one. She had to go # 2 while they were hunting and when your that age you have a harder time holding it. So they did what they could with what they had which was nothing. So they had to use dry grass for toilet paper, ouch! She remembers it. Things went much better this go around. It was a good daddy daughter night. I took Becca out for a icecream cone and that was our mommy daughter night along with Kurt.
