Lagoon 2008
First off let me just inform you that my computer isn't working that great, I think we have a virus so it was a pain in the butt to get this posted and I couldn't get 1/2 the pictures to upload. So anyways yesterday was Lagoon day for ATK. It was a great day considering it was Lagoon. It wasn't that hot and the lines weren't long at all in kiddie land. The girls really enjoyed themselves. As you can see in some of the pictures Ella really enjoyed herself and Becca wasn't real sure. Ella loves the rides she is our little dare devil. She rode a lot of the kiddie rides but also rode some big rides with her dad. She rode the white rollercoaster, the wild mouse, go carts, and rattlesnakes rapids, her favorite. She also went thru the haunted houses with Grandma but closed her eyes the whole time. Becca on the other hand still wasn't a big fan of the rides. She cried on almost all of them. Her only favorite one was the bumper cars, oh and the train ride but that doesn't really count as a RIDE. She was so funny because she would scream the whole ride but then after talk to everyone like she had so much fun when you really knew she didn't. Well that's about it for our Lagoon trip.

Swimming lessons come to an end
Well today was the last day of swimming lessons. The girls are disappointed that it is over. They really enjoyed it. I was concerned about Becca only being 3 and not doing well because she doesn't like water in her face but was I sure wrong. She loved it and did really well and now it doesn't bother her to have water in her face and she passed level 1. Ella did good also, but didn't pass level 2. It is a huge difference from level 1. They say it takes 2-3 years to pass level 2. So next year the girls will be in the same level together.
The girls are now excited about Lagoon tomorrow. It is ATK's lagoon day and the girls just love going. Ella loves the rides more than Becca, but maybe Becca will surprise me again and love the rides better than she did last year.

The Results
Monday I had an ultrasound to see what was going on with my gallbladder and after waiting all week to finally hear from the doctor after my many nagging phone calls the results are in, I have gall stones and will be getting my gallbladder out. This is my year I guess of surgerys. First a C-section and the repair of 2 hernia's from my pregnancy and next the gallbladder. Jedd said "Well you will have met your individual deductible and we won't have to pay anymore out of our pocket for anything else you have done this year". And I thought is there any thing else that could go wrong this year or have I pretty much covered it. And now that I have met my deductible I will probably be healthy. Now I need to find a good time during this busy summer to squeeze that in.

Swimming Lessons
This week the girls started swim lessons. It's all they could talk about for the last few weeks. Classes go from Monday to Thursday this week and next. This is Ella's 3rd year and she is in level 2. This is Beccas 1st year and she is in level 1. They are loving every minute of it. After the lessons we head up the the elementary school and the girls have lunch. They offer free lunch during the month of June. It's great because then I don't have to fix lunch. They go home full and tired and I just hope that they will go down for a nap.

Happy Fathers Day
We had a wonderful day. I started the day by making Jedd breakfast. Doesn't sound like a big deal but it is, he is usually the one that makes breakfast on the weekends. So I gave him the day off being Fathers Day and all. The girls made him some homemade cards. They loving making anything for dad. Then we spent most of the day at my parents house. We had a cookout and it was delicious. The girls really enjoyed the day. They played everything under the sun, but they really enjoyed getting out some scooters that were mine and my brothers when we were kids. My dads parents came over and we visited with them and then we went over to my mom's dad's place and had a visit with him. Then we finished the day with a marshmallow roast and some smores. It was a great day. Oh yah one last thing that was probably the funniest of the day was Becca found her a warm tootsie right on the bottom of her foot I made Jedd clean it off. Probably not nice since it was Fathers Day but I would have got sick. She needs to learn to leave her shoes on.

3a.m. ER visit
So let's just say that I am a little tired. Friday night at about 10:30p.m. as I was about to go to bed I started to have a pain in my chest which usually is my acid reflux acting up. Never had it until this last pregnancy and was hoping that it would go away when I had the baby but no such luck. It's surprisingly painful. It usually only last 20-45 minutes but not last night. It subsided from my chest and the pain moved into my upper right abdomen. I was feeling nauseas and was very uncomfortable and couldn't get any sleep. I couldn't take it anymore so we called my mom to sit with the kids and we went into the ER at 3 am to see what was going on. Jedd and I thought that I might need my appendix out. So they took my blood and ran labs, took two x-rays and a urine sample to see what was going on. Everything looked good except for the results on my liver. I guess your count should be around 36 and mine was 191 so the doctor was a little concerned. We are thinking that it might be my gallbladder. So on Monday at 9 am I am having an ultrasound to see if it is my gallbladder. If it's not that then I will have to see my primary care physician to see why my liver count is so high. So after all that we made it home at about 5 am. I was running on no sleep with a new baby. So I guess we will wait to see.

Before and Afters
Baby Blessing
3 crazy kids
Friday, May 30, 2008
So life has been a little busy lately. It's crazy with 3! Kurt is 3 weeks old today. He is growing like a weed. At his 2 week appt. he weighed 9lbs 8oz and was 21 1/2 inches long. He likes to eat. The doctor thinks that he might have acid reflux. So we have him on medicine for that and eye drops also because he has plugged tear ducts. He has been a really good baby other than some small stuff. He only gets up twice a night. Can't complain about that. The girls just love him, Becca has finally came around and I think she has decieded that he isn't that bad.
Ella is excited that summer is here and she has planned a lot that she wants to do, but we'll have to see with the price of everything. Ella and Becca will be taking swimmimg lesssons here in a couple of weeks. That will keep them entertained for a few weeks.
We are having Kurt blessed this Sunday.
